Hello, my name is John and I own a tuning/race engineering company in Ireland. We have competed in Time Attack for 2 seasons. We won the championship with our main car, and have all cars at the sharp end of the grid. We are raceing in the Irish Touring car series,(ITCC) this year, and are in the top 3 in the series. Our workshop is very well tooled, but I don't have a dyno or RR, all my mapping is done by a local company. I would like to own an engine dyno some day.

So, that's me, hello from Ireland

John

We run a few,

Mitsi Evo 4, and driver are the most sucessful, 16 podiums in a row.
Impreza V3, We run this car for the current and previous owner, 3rd and 3rd in T/A with 2 drivers in 2 years
VW Corrado, 1 year of track days and now in Irish Touring cars, 3 rounds over this season
Seat Ibiza, 2nd in club, T/A in 2009, 1 year off, and back in 2011 in touring cars and some sprints
Clio 182, new kid just from karts, few rounds this year when he has time, maybe more next year.
Currently under construction, IS200 for customer for some race's this year, budget build for this year anyway
Also starting to build 2 small Fords this year, and if funds and sponsors can be found, we will run a 2 car ITCC team in 2011, with drivers also bringing in some budget.

John

Hi Johnny,
Curious about the IS200 build? What setup are you going for?
Oh and welcome...
Gav.

The owner got it set up on a RR using some kind of A/F controller. My side of the work is to strip and lighten the car, cage, plumb etc and try an optimise the suspension already fitted to the car. The customer is dipping his toes in the water, and if he feel's he can compete at pack just ahead of the rear of the field, then we will spend some time and money on the car over the off season.
